I was born in puerto rico. Yes, spanish is my first language! When I was 8 we moved to Camarillo, California. And when I was 15 we moved to St. Johns, FL. Growing up I always wanted to help people. So I thought nursing school was the path for me.
After years of struggling with endometriosis, acne, and my mental health, I felt god call me to leave nursing school and go into esthetics. i was still meant to heal and help others, but insead of nursing like i thought, it was through skincare. so my journey into esthetics began…
I graduated as a licensed esthetician in March 2020 right as the world shut down. like i took my finals in an empty school. During lockdown i practiced on everyone in our home and took as many online courses as i could. When the world opened back up, I went on to work at a local spa. But once again, I felt God was calling me elsewhere—I knew I had to open up my own space. And even though it was the most nerve wrecking thing i’ve ever done, I took the leap of faith.
Bodhi Aesthetics opened in November of 2021 from a dream I thought was far fetched, all my passion, and God’s grace.
While opening my own business was the scariest thing I’ve ever done, it was the best decision I’ve ever made. corrective treatments, hydrafacials, and skincare have changed my skin, my life and my client’s skin.
When I’m not healing skin at the spa, you can find me reading a book, hanging out at home with my fiance and our two kitties timo and taro baking a new treat, spending quality time with friends and family, shopping, or looking for shells and shark teeth at the beach.
